⛰️ Sobaek Mountain ⛰️
🌿 Let’s climb Sobeak Moutain together!
There are many different trails in this mountain, but our two options are both beginners friendly.😍
🌳 The first course is the Seonbi-gil which is 3.8km long and takes about 70 minutes.
This course is name after the Seonbichon village. It means “classical scholar” and the village was famous for its classical scholars’ loyalty and filial piety🌳
🌳 The second course possible is called Jangnimal-gil. It is 4.7km long and takes around 80 minutes to hike.
“Jangnimal” means the “end of the season”, it used to be the shortest road to go from Seoul to Gyeongbuk, that’s why the route was really busy all year around🌳
💈Danyang Gugyeong Market 💈
🧄 Danyang is known for its garlic, so you can buy cute garlic-shaped bread here as well as other garlic snacks!
That’s you’ll find a lot of garlic-based food at the Danyang Gugyeong market. 🧄
If you happen to visit Danyang on the day that ends with 1 or 6, make sure to visit Danyang Fifth-day Market, which is held every five days.
🐋Danyang Danuri Aquarium 🪼
🐟 Danyang Danuri Aquarium is a must visit one with a wide range of fish species, domestic ones and overseas ones.
There are about 15,000 fishes and more than a hundred different species. It is the perfect place for kids but also adults!
The fish tanks are decorated from 8 scenic views of Danyang city. Would you be able to recognize them? 🐠
🌁 Danyang Mancheonha Skywalk 🌁
There’s no better way to view the entirety of Danyang and the mountains than from the Skywalk.
This was featured in a list of Top 100 Must-Visit Tourist Spots in Korea (2019 – 2020).
The Skywalk is about 80-90 meters high with a glass-bottom walkway at the top.
🍃 Take the time to appreciate all the greenery surrounding the structure!
