📹 Mungyeong Seajae Open Film Set 📹
Since its opening in 2008 the open set has been used for KBS sageuk (period or historical) dramas
with hundreds of traditional style buildings being added over the years and when not filming
visitors can see the site of some of their favorite dramas!
This site is the home of dozens of K-Dramas, such as "The King's Affections," "Mr. Queen,"
"My Roommate Is A Gumiho,"
"Record Our Youth," "Tale of the Nine Tailed 1938 " just to name a few.
The site is also famous for music video filming, most recently was the site of Stray Kids' Thunderous MV.
🌅 Mungyeong Saejae, 1st Gateway 🌅
Originally built after 2 attempts of invasion into the city,
this is the first entrance way to the city.
Enjoy the beautiful scenery of the 1st gate of Mungyeong. Great to walk around the gates and surround
wall that is still in great condition is a reminder of the historical richness of the city.
🚞 Mungyeong Monorail 🚞
Enjoy seeing the beautiful mountain side of Mungyeong!
Take your time to enjoy the forest on this leisurely paced ride and make sure
to take lots of pictures and look out for rabbits or deer!
🔭 Mungyeong Observatory🔭
Located right above the monorail, the observatory offers an amazing view of the city below and a small café
with seats.
